Lauren Murphy

Lauren Murphy is the founder and lead designer behind Lauren Murphy Design. She believes everyone deserves a home they love and feel is a sacred space to find refuge and make memories with loved ones. Lauren has always had an interest in property & real estate and now, because of incredible clients, gets to live out her passion everyday!

Born and raised in Alabama, Lauren earned her degree in Interior Design from The University of Alabama and then went on to obtain her masters in Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia. After grad school, Lauren moved to Birmingham, falling in love with the city and focusing her career on residential construction. Working for some of the top construction firms in Birmingham as well spending time as a Realtor in the area, Lauren learned the fundamentals of helping people find their dream homes as well as building and renovating custom homes. She also enjoyed her time serving her community through volunteering for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and being an active member of the Young Professional Board.

Lauren moved to Marietta in 2025 with her husband, precious son, Jon Andrew, and two rescue pups. She looks forward to building community and serving Marietta clients!

Lauren’s eye for design has been proven through many clients entrusting her with renovating and building homes they can feel proud of.
